Bradford Soundscreen
If you’re building a new home or planning a major alteration for your client, SoundScreen can help you create a sanctuary that your client will appreciate.
A new home should be a place where people can come together and live harmoniously. SoundScreen high-density acoustic insulation was designed by Bradford to greatly reduce unwanted noise transferring through internal walls and mid floors to help keep the peace.
How does SoundScreen work?
Standard internal walls are hollow, with 10mm of plasterboard on each side, even moderate sound can transfer between rooms. SoundScreen's high-density acoustic insulation fills the gap between plasterboards, effectively absorbing unwanted noise transfer between rooms for greater acoustic comfort.
Which rooms should you Soundscreen?
It’s important to consider the planned use for the rooms to help your clients decide on which walls to use sound screen. Taken into consideration what stage of the family life cycle, family size and people working from home you can help your clients create create quiet zones around bedrooms and studies. For younger families, the nursery will be an important point of focus. Stopping sound escaping from noisy areas like the media room, the rumpus room, and even the bathrooms and laundry are equally important to ensure minimal disturbance.
As Bradford’s SoundScreen acoustic insulation can only be installed during construction, it is important to plan out the space with your client and have conversations around how they intend to use the space when the house is built.
