Get your paint and preparation supplies sorted at NHS
At NHS, we stock a wide range of spray paint and preparation products for tradies finishing off decking, and general building work across Newcastle and the Hunter. Our stores in Lambton, Cardiff and Beresfield carry everything from primers and undercoats through to sandpaper, tapes and clean-up products. Whether you're prepping or priming a surface we make it easy to get what you need.
We also stock decking oils and timber preservatives, so the finishing stage of a job doesn't mean a separate trip to another supplier. It also means you can match prep, primer and topcoat products from the one range.
Choose the right products for the job
The right paint and preparation products depend on the surface, the finish and how the area gets used once the job's done. Decking oils and timber preservatives need to suit the timber type and its exposure to weather, while primers and undercoats need to match the paint going over the top. Sandpaper grade matters too, since the wrong grit can leave a surface that doesn't take paint well.
If you're not sure which product suits your job, our team can help you check the options before you order. Getting this right before you start can save a return trip once the first coat goes on.
A wide range of paint and preparation products
Our range covers primers, and wood strippers, along with decking preparation and oils, timber preservatives and sandpaper. We also stock paint brushes and rollers, clean-up products, line marking supplies and tapes for masking and general use.
If you need something specific that isn't on the shelf, additional products may be available via special order through our supplier network. Just let the team know what you're after and we'll check what's possible.
