Our plasterboard delivery service includes two team members hand unloading your materials, while other building supplies are generally craned off the truck to a safe and accessible spot.

NHS is excited to announce that we now offer same-day ute delivery! At NHS, we understand how busy tradies get, and there isn't always time to leave the site to pick up gear. That's why we've ramped up our ute delivery service to save you time. Our extensive ute fleet across our three stores is the game changer you need on-site. Whether it's 80 square metres of plasterboard, 45 sticks of 90 x 45, or something you simply forgot to grab, we've got you covered.

How does it work?
Ordering is simple and convenient. Talk to our friendly staff by calling 4979 0000, visiting us in-store, or ordering online. Order any stocked items (up to a total of 500kg) before 9:00 am and we can have your gear on site that day by 4:30 pm.
Here's the deal:
- Order Timing: Place your order by 9 am Monday to Friday for delivery to sites within 30 minutes of your nearest store.
- Delivery Notification: While you can’t choose a specific delivery time, we’ll call you when we’re on our way.
- Safety and Assistance: Items must be in stock and able to be safely delivered by ute. For large or heavy items, we may need your assistance with unloading.
- Weight Limit: The maximum order weight is 500 kg.

How do I know if I’m eligible for same-day delivery?
To be eligible for same-day delivery:
- You must place your delivery order before 9:00 am
- All items must be in stock
- Your delivery address must be within our inner zone
- The delivery window must be anytime
- Items must be able to be delivered by ute with the customer to assist with unloading
- The maximum weight must be under 500kgs
What is classified as the inner zone for delivery?
Our inner zone is generally up to 30 minutes from an NHS store—however, this can depend on the suburbs. This means you can get same-day Delivery anywhere in Newcastle and to Murrays Beach, Buttaba, Branxton and Medowie. Come in-store and ask our team or use the suburb checker above to see if your delivery address is eligible for same-day delivery.
Can I schedule same-day delivery online?
Yes! Log into your account and add the products you need to your cart. When you check out, select today as the delivery date. If your order meets the eligibility criteria above, we will ship it to you the same day.
What time can I expect my same-day delivery to arrive?
While you can’t choose a specific delivery time, we’ll deliver your items by 4:30 pm and will call you when we’re on our way. If you are expecting a delivery, please keep your phone nearby.
