Their Bushfire Resistant doors have been extensively tested and provide a wide range of options for BAL12.5, BAL19, BAL29 and now even BAL40 bushfire zones.

BAL12.5
Hume Doors & Timber provide a range of BAL12.5 compliant doors that have been tested and manufactured as per AS1530.8.1.
All BAL12.5 doors must be installed as per Australian Standard AS3959 to be compliant.
BAL19 & BAL29
The BAL19 & BAL29 range of doors from Hume Doors & Timber is manufactured to AS3959. All BAL19 and BAL29 doors must be installed as per Australian Standard AS3959 to be compliant.

BAL40
The BAL40 compliant doors from Hume Doors & Timber have been tested and are manufactured as per AS1530.8.1. BAL40 Doors must be installed as per AS3959 with a Hume Bushfire Resistant frame to be BAL40 compliant.

- BAL40 Doors MUST be supplied with a BAL40 frame to be BAL40 compliant.
It is also important to ensure that your door frame meets the requirements of AS3959, if your door is suitable for a specific BAL level, but your frame is not, you will not be able to gain certification, as your entryway will not comply with Australian Standard AS3959. Fortunately, Hume has a range of Bushfire Resistant Frames that are suitable for up to BAL40 zones!
BUSHFIRE RESISTANT FRAMES
Hume Doors & Timber offer a range of Entrance frames to suit BAL12.5, BAL19, BAL29 and BAL40 zones. It is recommended that for BAL12.5, BAL19 and BAL29 that you order your BAL Door and Frame together to ensure it meets your required BAL level. For BAL40, you MUST order your BAL 40 Door and Frame together or your system will NOT be BAL40 compliant.
