This addition to the Hume Cavity Unit range has been engineered specifically for moisture-prone areas and is both functional and practical. Set apart from the rest of the market by its innovative recessed closing jamb, slat placement and unmatched customisation options, Hume has created a cavity unit that not only offers strength, performance and adaptability but also maximises your most precious resource – time. When designing this Cavity Unit, Hume considered the builder/installer and has created a solution to one of the biggest time-stealing activities on site – cutting to size.

Hume has perfectly placed the slats/noggins on the GAL Sealed Cavity Unit to suit BOTH 1200 & 1350mm high wall linings, making installation of the wall lining not only easier – but faster than a standard cavity unit.

The innovative slat design also allows for floor to ceiling tiling in wet areas (to a maximum load of 45kg/m2) and suits any variations in wall lining thicknesses on either side of the cavity unit.

The GAL Sealed Evolution Steel Cavity Unit excels in wet areas, works with floor to ceiling tiles, and thanks to its anti-corrosive galvanised steel construction, ensures exceptional durability and longevity. Moreover, it offers an innovative recessed closing jamb that eliminates the gap between the door and jamb, significantly enhancing privacy, moisture and room climate control. A flat closing jamb is also an available option.
