NHS had a blast at Maitland TAFE. With the help of the MBA we were able to enrich the learning of our local apprentices and serve up a BBQ lunch and some learning experiences with the help of our suppliers.
The day was a great success with James Hardie providing education and understanding of cladding systems and the installation process of some of their products. Josh from James Hardie also talked about myHardies, a great online resource for tradies to utilise on the go.
Sutton Tools were also showcasing their gear with apprentices competing against each other in drilling speed trials utilising their quick-change arbor.
With plenty of apprentices there, we made sure there was plenty of food too. It was great to have Matt Crockett right in amongst the day, working his magic on the BBQ. We also had our awesome Beresfield Branch Manager Barb there, account managers and some legends from our Beresfield counter to make sure the day run smoothly.
We were blown away to see how much our NHS merch is hot property amongst the apprentices. The hype for our hoodies certainly tested the speed of our team to get them in the hands of our future tradies.
A huge thanks to Metford Tafe and the MBA to make this happen. We appreciate all the apprentices coming down from your usual lunch spots to come check out the event. We hope you enjoyed it and it was of benefit to your learnings at Tafe. We look forward to seeing you in store soon with your new merch and watching you shape the future of our building industry!
