The translucent safety glass is made by a heat and pressure process that laminates two sheets with a white interlayer in between. This gives the glass its white opaque colour, which creates visual privacy while still admitting a considerable amount of light.
Glazing choice has a considerable effect on the appearance of the Savoy XS11 entrance door, and for both privacy and aesthetic reasons, Hume Doors offer a number of glazing options in plain, decorative and tinted glass finishes. Building requirements vary according to the bushfire attack level (BAL) that the development is classified under. The Savoy XS11 entrance door comes with a rating of BAL 12.5.
