Product Description

Incorporating an authentic vintage decorative design, the Carringbush XCB1 from Hume Doors is a carefully-crafted period or reproduction entrance door, well suited to traditional homes, rustic dwellings and country residences.

Featuring a cathedral glazed ornate panel, solid timber “cricket bat” mouldings and routing on both faces, the Carringbush range of entrance door are a quality build. Cathedral glass is a colourless glass that has a texture on one side, offering high light transmittance with low visibility.

Glazing choice has a pronounced impact on the appearance of the Carringbush XCB1 entrance door, and for both privacy and aesthetic reasons, Hume Doors offer a number of glazing options in plain, decorative and tinted glass finishes. Although this door comes with cathedral glazing, it is also available in clear, grey tint, translucent, wysteria, argyle triple-glazed and crystal blue triple-glazed (price may vary) – please refer to the website button above for further information.

Employing a conventional stile and rail construction method, the medium density fibreboard core adds an element of sturdiness that is hard to beat. And with a non-porous Duracote tempered hardboard finish, this solid entrance door comes ready to paint.

Building requirements vary according to the bushfire attack level (BAL) that the development is classified under. The Carringbush XCB1 entrance door comes with a rating of BAL 12.5.
