T2 Blue framing pine is suitable for use in internal, above ground, dry structural and non-structural building applications which are located south of the Tropic of Capricorn in Australia. It protects your home from the inside out so you don’t need to worry about chemical sprays around your home.
The in-line treatment process penetrates the timber fibres with a light organic preservative that has been proven safe and highly effective over time, it’s guaranteed for 25 years against termite and borer infestations. The active ingredient is non-hazardous and is commonly found in household products such as human head lice shampoo and flea collars. The blue colouring is just clothes dye and intended for identification purposes only.
Unlike other termite systems, T2 Blue requires little to no attention post construction. With no annual inspections or maintenance required, T2 Blue structural framing pine really is a hassle-free solution.
T2 Blue is safe for you, your family and your pets – the treatment is approved by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA). Although T2 Blue is non-hazardous, it's not unusual for some excess dye to rub off the surface of the timber. Skin that comes into contact with the T2 Blue treatment solution should be washed with soapy water prior to food consumption.
Made exclusively from sustainable AFS and PEFC Chain of Custody certified Australian plantation pine, T2 Blue is a greenhouse positive product with a lower net environmental impact than almost all other building materials. In addition, T2 Blue structural framing pine off-¬cuts and saw dust are not classified as hazardous waste, so they can be disposed through normal waste collection services.
