SmartFrame laminated veneer lumber (LVL) is engineered using sheets of thin ultrasonically graded Douglas Fir bonded together with exterior grade adhesives to make beams which span much longer distances and support heavier loads than ordinary timber.
In addition, the smaller cross section of SmartLVL 15 boasts the same strength and span distances as larger LVL, but at a meaningful weight saving.
Being less prone to warping and shrinking than conventional timber, SmartLVL 15 is strong, lightweight, straight and true – a great choice for residential and commercial construction.
