A modern and industrial design option for residential construction, James Hardie™ Matrix™ cladding is an exterior cladding system with a contemporary geometric, expressed-joint look ... it offers the commercial look without the commercial price tag. It also works well for internal feature walls.
James Hardie™ Matrix™ cladding sheets are easily fixed to timber-framed or steel-framed structures using James Hardie™ cavity trim battens instead of the usual steel top hats associated with many commercial systems, while the option of brad nailing minimises visual interruption and fast-tracks installation. The expressed joint in Matrix™ cladding is simply created using a 10mm packer.
A variety of looks can be created from the square and rectangular panels, using the expressed joint to generate everything from horizontal and vertical stripes to geometric patterns.
Sealed on all sides for durability and stability, Matrix™ sheets are pre-primed for fast paint application – so a smooth, flat, high-quality finish is the end result. Being resistant to cracking, warping, shrinking and swelling means it will maintain its integrity and general appearance longer than most alternatives.
