Product Description

One of Australia's premium native species, NSW Spotted Gum decking, whilst tonal, has less variation in colour to its Queensland counterpart and no red tones.

Whilst Spotted Gum may vary in appearance, it is the same in durability class and properties, and the presence of a wavy grain can produce an attractive fiddle-back figure.

Pentarch Premier hardwood decking, including NSW Spotted Gum, is graded to standard and better.

Spotted gum has a level of natural fire resistance, inherent fire retarding properties meeting Australian Standard AS3959, and so can be used in bush-fire prone areas without any treatment

Features and Benefits

  • Decking can be used to complement internal flooring and form a natural flow from indoors to outdoors
  • Hardwoods are easy to stain to complement an outdoor colour scheme or can be left raw to create a natural, weathered look
  • Durable hardwood timber decking is a natural product and can be refinished to its original state with little fuss
  • Seasoned to ensure optimum hardness, stability and long service life
  • A timber deck is built over the natural lie of the land so it will not interfere with drainage

  • Durability Class 1
