Pink® Soundbreak™ batts are made from high density, flexible and resilient glasswool, which is specifically designed to provide exceptional acoustic insulation performance of residential ceilings, walls and midfloors. Pink® Soundbreak™ batts are available in various sizes to fit standard timber and steel stud/joist spacings.
Pink® Soundbreak™ batts with its high nominal density of 24–26kg/m3 makes it ideal for reducing sound transfer through walls, both internal and external (Internal walls between theatre rooms, bathrooms, laundries and kitchens are just some of the areas where internal wall insulation could be beneficial!). The high density also aids in achieving higher thermal R-values for external walls with limited cavity spaces.
