Featuring an exquisite curved glass panel, the Newington XN12 sidelite mirrors and complements the distinctive beauty of the Newington XN6 entrance door from Hume Doors. Designed for use as a single sidelite only, the result is in an entrance that gleams.

The translucent safety glass is made by a heat and pressure process that laminates two sheets with a white interlayer in between. This gives the glass its white opaque colour, which creates visual privacy while still admitting a considerable amount of light.

Employing a conventional stile and rail construction method, the medium density fibreboard core adds an element of sturdiness that is hard to beat. And the Duracote tempered hardboard face means this solid sidelite comes with a non-porous surface, ready to paint.

Glazing choice has a significant impact on the appearance of the Newington XN12 entrance side panel, and for both privacy and aesthetic reasons, Hume Doors offer a number of glazing options in plain, decorative and tinted glass finishes. Although this sidelite comes with translucent glazing, it is also available in clear, cathedral, africana, grey tint, geostep and wave slumped (price may vary) – please refer to the website button above for further information.

Building requirements vary according to the bushfire attack level (BAL) that the development is classified under. The Newington XN12 sidelite comes with a rating of BAL 12.5.
