High impact plastic film, commonly called builders film, is a tough multi-purpose plastic that has countless uses in the building industry and beyond.

Black plastic film is primarily designed to act as a vapour barrier underneath concrete slabs to prevent moisture penetration, and in fact, is a requirement in NSW and South Australia (and must be installed in accordance with AS 2870).

Outside of a concrete underlay for slabs, this waterproof builders film is handy as a plastic tarpaulin, temporary weather protection during building, a drop sheet for painting, a dam or pond lining, for demolition debris and asbestos removal, to line grain silos and much more.
