NewTechWood does not recommend face-fixing the complete deck as the deck boards may not perform as designed, and under no circumstance are hollow deck boards to be face fixed, as this voids the manufacturer’s warranty.
New Techwood has designed a secret fix system, where the clips are hidden in the gaps.
The Cobra T-Clip slides into the grooved edge of the decking board. Slide the second board into the hidden fastner, and screw down the hidden fastener into the joist.
The Cobra T-Clip is a uniform 5.5mm gap which is the standard for decking.
