Product Description

These coarse-thread galvanised bugle batten screws are designed for outdoor applications when fastening to timber. Having a ribbed head, they self-embed and can be driven flush or countersunk below the timber surface, making them ideal for use where finish is of primary concern.

The self-drilling type 17 point is able to pierce light gauge steel up to 0.6mm in thickness, so they’re easily installed using a 5mm hex drive bit in a power tool, or with a 5mm allen key if necessary.

The mechanical galvanising applied to these class 3 hex drive bugle batten screws offers good corrosion resistance when exposed to the elements. Potential uses include timber decking, furniture, gates, fences, pergolas, carports, structural framing, roofing battens, work benches, landscaping and more.
