During this period of tight supply, the LVL13 we supply you may be a mixture of Smartframe and Hyspan, and additionally we may substitute LVL15 for LVL13.
Going forward LVL15 will be a special order, with extended lead times and will be at a higher cost than LVL13.
If you receive a mix of both LVL13 and LVL15, please work to the lesser grade of LVL13.

As Tilling Timber move from LVL15 to LVL13, any customers with a current or upcoming project designed with LVL15 are encouraged to have it re-designed using LVL13. Please speak to us if this is you.
During the transition period, we may supply you LVL15 lengths even though you have been invoiced for LVL13.

NHS will continue to endeavour to minimise the impact of the LVL15 shortage on our customers as much as possible.
As part of this, you may notice some LVL13 appearing in NHS store racks and being delivered as an alternative to the Smartframe LVL15.
LVL13 or LVL15 will be clearly identified on each length.
On site if you are using a mix of LVL13 and LVL15 product, you should work to the lesser span of LVL13.
The Smartframe LVL15 is being replaced by Smartframe LVL13 and in the future will not be available.
Update: February 2021
Over the next few months TILLING NSW will be moving its LVL stock across from SmartLVL15 to SmartLVL13 as its standard LVL offer. As stock is exhausted, you will see this change.
This means that the 42mm becomes 45mm, and the 58mm becomes 63mm, in line with other brands in the market.
New literature is already complete and available on the Tilling SmartFrame website here https://www.tilling.com.au/product/smartlvl-13-sa-nsw/ and the SmartFrame Design software and Smartphone apps also already support design in LVL13 grade and sizes.
Tilling Design Centre can assist with any redesign of existing designs where necessary, and are also able to assist with conversion of previously specified SmartLVL15 across to the new SmartLVL13.
