In situations where you have internal or external corner which is not back supported in either steel or timber frame, a non-ferrous reinforced corner angle is required as a best practice minimise movement and waterproofing membrane damage.

The second is the use of Hardie™ Base Coat which has been specifically developed for use with Villaboard™ lining and offer superior joint strength when compared with the gypsum jointing compound alternatives. Gypsum based topcoat can be used as a 3rd finish topcoat for non-tiled area’s without affecting the James Hardie™ system warranty.
