Steel Door Frames

The Humes Commercial steel door frames have uses for both non-fire rated and fire rated installations. These frames offer the following benefits:

The team at Hume can design and produce any type of steel door frame as well as the common profiles

3 Hinges included

Hinges are screw-fixed to the frame for easy door removal. Steel frames require three hinges to meet guarantee for solid doors

Corner detail

Knock Down frame parts slot together accurately

Tube fix

The tube fix protects the fixing hole from being blocked during the back filling of the frame (back filling is required for fire rated applications)

Dimple fix

A countersunk hole for a mechanical anchor fixing into masonry walls

Zinc finish

Ready for priming or painting

Striker plate

Factory fitted to the frame

Spread bars

Two temporary spreader bars to maintain a square and rigid frame during installation and transportation
