Pre-drilling is often unavoidable with hardwood, but it doesn’t have to slow the job down. The DSPRO™ screw features a chisel-point drill tip, which significantly reduces the need for pre-drilling in many hardwood species and helps minimise splitting during installation.
While pre-drilling and countersinking may still be recommended in some timbers or when fixing close to board edges, installers will notice faster, more efficient installs across most applications - saving time without compromising quality.
Manufactured from 316 ‘marine grade’ Stainless Steel, the DSPRO™ screw is ideal for highly corrosive environments, including coastal builds, boardwalks, and exposed exterior decks.
