Particularly suited to an alfresco area, but equally adept at elevating any interior entertainment space, woodLINE contemporary timber lining is a fantastic choice to create a sense of warmth and luxury. Designed for all indoor or undercover outdoor applications, woodLINE introduces consummate style to any setting.
Cleverly crafted in reversible form, woodLINE features a striking shadow line finish on one side, or a more subtle v-joint groove on the other. With scope to install these lining boards vertically, horizontally or diagonally, architectural choice is almost limitless.
woodLINE lining boards are manufactured from nature’s ideal answer for our environment, Australian hardwood. Extremely tight machining tolerances and kiln drying ensure a straight line edge for easy alignment. They feature tongue and groove joints, and there is even a nailing line marked on each board to make concealed fixing fast and painless.
Environmental conditions can have a significant impact on timber lining boards, with potential to substantially buckle or distort under extreme humidity. Luckily, the good folk behind woodLINE have taken that into account when designing the board profile. Instead of requiring a dedicated expansion joint every so often, woodLINE accommodates a small amount of movement in each joint, thus eliminating the need for a standalone expansion joint entirely – the result is a clean and continuous visual, no unsightly joins to contend with … and no warping!
The woodLINE range of lining boards is offered in a choice of two finishes – prestige or rustic (subject to availability). They also come in two standard widths and a selection of timber species including brush box, grey ironbark, silvertop stringybark, spotted gum and sydney blue gum. Some species are rated to BAL 29, making them suitable for use in bushfire prone areas (refer to specifications for each product).
