Dummy levers have no active function, they are non-turning handles for interior doors where latching is not required. Mounted on just one side of the door, dummy levers are essentially decorative trim and typically matched to the active leversets found elsewhere in the dwelling. Although non-operational, dummy levers do provide a pull function for applications such as wardrobes, french doors, closets and cupboards.
