Product Description

Timber decking is a great way to extend your living spaces and blur the lines between inside and out, with grey box decking a great choice for the tough Australian climate. It's perfect for large or small decks along with many other outdoor applications including pool surrounds, gardens, bridges, verandahs, landscaping and more.

As one of Australia's premium native hardwoods, grey box is amongst the hardest wearing timbers on the market, so it's ideal for high-traffic domestic or commercial applications. With an aesthetically pleasing appearance and a high degree of natural durability and strength, the texture is relatively fine and even with an interlocked grain. Grown in the coastal forests from central New South Wales to South East Queensland, the natural palette of grey box ranges from dark nutty honey through to soft wheat colours.

Grey Box as a species is slower to dry, so generally will not develop much surface checking.

This Australian grey box hardwood is sourced under the principles of Ecologically Sustainable Forestry Management, so you know you've made a responsible choice.
