An internal underlay for ceramic tile finishes which helps protect against movement that occurs naturally in timber, particleboard and plywood substrates, reducing the prospect of tile cracking due to expansion and contraction. It is suitable for both wet and dry areas.
A pre-marked nailing pattern minimises the time the installer has to spend working out where to nail, and it can be gun nailed with underlay gun nails for speedy installation.
James Hardie™ ceramic tile underlay comes pre-sealed, improving moisture resistance and giving the tiler more time to lay the tiles before the tile adhesive cures, along with better tile adhesion. Being homogeneously resistant to moisture damage given it’s made from fibre cement, the underlay won’t deform or lose its structural integrity even if it gets wet.
