16MM MOISTURE RESISTANT MELAMINE SHELVING

Melamine MR (Moisture Resistant) is a highly moisture resistant, durable and hygienic solution for producing low maintenance cabinets, wardrobes, drawers or shelving. Laminated on both sides with white melamine, the surface is non-porous and hardwearing. The moisture repelling characteristics make it particularly suited to wet area and high humidity applications such as kitchen, laundry and bathroom cabinetry.

The inherent moisture resistance of melamine MR comes from the bonding of the wood particles with a specially formulated resin system. It can be easily identified by the green dye incorporated in the core of the board.

Panels can be cut, drilled and machined using standard wood working equipment fitted with tungsten carbide tipped cutting edges, no special tools are required. And since melamine MR board is pre-decorated, cabinet building is fast and easy – all you need to do is cut, drill and edge it.

Possible uses for melamine MR include kitchen cupboards, bathroom vanities, laundry cupboards, shelving, built-in wardrobes, pantries, cabinets, storage units, furniture, displays, shop fitouts, wall linings and all detailed joinery where a moisture resistant decorative board is required.
